Michael J. Palmiotto President Michael J. Plamiotto Phd: Professor of Criminal Justice at Wichita State University.  He has a master’s degree from John Jay College (CUNY) and a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2001 Dr. Palmiotto did a sabbatical at the College of Law,  University of Chicago.  Professor Palmiotto has ten books published, numerous book chapters and articles on criminal justice. 

Professor Palmiotto is currently Editor of International Security, a four volume set encyclopedia to be published by Congressional Quarterly Press. The encyclopedia has contributions on security issues from contributors throughout the world.   He is also was Managing Editor of the World Police Encyclopedia, a two volume set of encyclopedia published by Routledge dealing with the structure of policing in member countries of the United Nations.  Dr. Palmiotto has taught at Maastricht Center for International Studies, Netherlands in 2004, was and a Fulbright Scholar to the Law College of the University of Law, the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2006 and  in 2007 invited by the College of Law at the University of Kragujevac, Serbia as Visiting Professor. In 2007, Professor Palmiotto was approved as a Fulbright Senior Specialist Scholar.   The current research interests of  Dr. Palmiotto include international security issues. more...

Donald E. Hall is a Jackson Distinguished Professor of English at West Virginia University, where he also serves as department chair. He has a long history of involvement in international education, beginning with Peace Corps service, teaching at the National University of Rwanda from 1984-86. Professor Hall has published widely in the fields of British studies, queer theory (field of gender studies), cultural studies, and professional studies. more...

<empty> Dr. Caroline Hodges received her PhD in 2006 (grad-uated in 2007) and works as a Lecturer in the Media School at Bournemouth University. She received a BA Honors Degree in Spanish from the University of Southampton and an MA in Marketing from Bristol Business School (University of the West of England). A researcher of Communication and Culture, Caroline is a member of the organizing committee, for the Centre for Public Communica-tion Research, based at Bournemouth University. Her research interests include intercultural communication, sustainable development communication and the possible futures for ‘soft' public diplomacy and cultural relations. more...

Paul Kawachi Professor Paul Kawachi has been teaching at universities in Japan for more than twenty years, with short visits to the Philippines and Viet Nam. He holds a Doctorate in education, three Master’s degrees and several teaching diplomas with distinction. He is a Fellow of the British Institute of English Language Teaching and a Fellow of the NPO Asian Society of Open and Distance Education. Paul recently added a Master’s in Open and Distance Education from the UK Open University, Institute of Educational Technology, and won the Gold Medal for his research from the Asian Association of Open Universities, where he is now on the General Board with connections to a host of the largest open universities throughout Asia and the rest of the world. more...

Dr. Terri Kim is a specialist in Comparative Higher Education. She is currently working as a full-time Research Lecturer at Brunel University in West London, UK. Rajendra Kurup is director and principal consultant of Environmental Engineers International and an adjunct lecturer in environmental engineering at Murdoch University, Western Australia. He received a Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering from the University of Kerala and pursued higher qualifications in environmental engineering; a Master of Engineering from IHE Delft, The Netherlands; and a Master of Engineering Science (Research) from the University of Western Australia, and he has completed his Ph.D. research at Murdoch University. more...
