Professor Palmiotto is
currently Editor of International Security, a four volume set
encyclopedia to be published by Congressional Quarterly Press. The
encyclopedia has contributions on security issues from contributors
throughout the world. He is also was Managing
Editor of the World Police Encyclopedia, a two volume set of
encyclopedia published by Routledge dealing with the structure of
policing in member countries of the United Nations. Dr.
Palmiotto has taught at Maastricht Center for International Studies,
Netherlands in 2004, was and a Fulbright Scholar to the Law College of
the University of Law, the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2006 and in
2007 invited by the College of Law at the University of Kragujevac,
Serbia as Visiting Professor. In 2007, Professor Palmiotto was approved
as a Fulbright Senior Specialist Scholar. The

Dr. Caroline Hodges received her PhD in 2006 (grad-uated in 2007)
and works as a Lecturer in the Media School at Bournemouth University.
She received a BA Honors Degree in Spanish from the University of
Southampton and an MA in Marketing from Bristol Business School
(University of the West of England). A researcher of Communication and Culture, Caroline is a member of the
organizing committee, for the Centre for Public Communica-tion
Research, based at Bournemouth University. Her research interests
include intercultural communication, sustainable development
communication and the possible futures for ‘soft' public diplomacy and

Rajendra
Kurup is director and principal
consultant of Environmental Engineers International and an adjunct
lecturer in environmental engineering at Murdoch University, Western
Australia. He received a Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering
from the University of Kerala and pursued higher qualifications in
environmental engineering; a Master of Engineering from IHE Delft, The
Netherlands; and a Master of Engineering Science (Research) from the
University of Western Australia, and he has completed his Ph.D.
