
Narayan Dhital is currently pursuing a Ph. D. at Laval University, Canada. He holds an M.Sc. in Forestry from Wageningen University, The Netherlands, a B.Sc., Forestry, and B. Commerce from Tribhuwan University, Nepal. Narayan worked as an associate expert for the Mountain Institute's Qomolangma Conservation Program in Tibet for more than three years before he joined Laval University in fall 2006. He was active in Nepal's community forestry program for more than five years. He is also associated with Joint Implementation (JI) program of United Nation's Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
