Adjunct Professor Robert J. Cassinelli (M.A., University of Texas at Austin, Middle East Studies; B.A. with honors in English and humanities; Certificate of International Relations, California State University: US Foreign Policy/International Marketing, with High Honors). Robert has taught classical and modern humanities and the Western, Middle Eastern and African civilizational models. He also has taught political science and sociology at American River College, California. Robert employs a holistic approach to show how art, architecture, literature, music and theater are responsive to economic, political and social events; then frequently become forecasters of subsequent societal changes. Robert chaired the committee to reconstitute and revitalize the World Affairs Council, North California Affiliate of the San Francisco World affairs Council. He has published papers and delivered papers on panels and at annual conferences. He has also been a featured speaker at international and national societies. He most recently developed and taught a course titled, The Rhetoric and Philosophy of Terrorism. Robert, earlier in his career, was rated a Master Instructor in his field by the US Air Force.
