Rebekah Zablud Azen is an independent information professional serving nonprofits, independent news/media, tribes and indigenous organizations. She provides information and research services and is a library development consultant. She received her MLIS from Louisiana State University in 1990 and has worked in academic, special, news, and tribal libraries. She began her independent practice in 1997 with the goal of serving the information needs of socially conscious causes and projects, helping organizations make change for social benefit and planetary health. She is a member of the American Library Association, Special Library Association, Association of Independent Information Professionals, and the Progressive Librarian’s Guild.
