Geoff Maslen | 27 February 2011 | Issue: 160 It took five years before Julian Assange's WikiLeaks organisation attracted worldwide attention. Whether the former university student who started a copycat version called UniLeaks this month will wait that long to be noticed is far from certain - especially given the fact that much of what is on the site has been plagiarised from WikiLeaks. Since the Australian whistleblower site was launched, it does not seem to have attracted any explosive leaks although it appears to have drawn some 25,000 hits. Most were from the UK following two letters from the founder to the vice-chancellor organisations in Britain and Australia.
