Arrow electronics is a global provider of products, services and solution to industrial and commercial users of electronic components. This project aimed at to develop the ecommerce website for their global user. Aimed to develop different websites for each global region with single sign on future.     

 

Major Responsibilities:

·         Developing RIF doc (RICE Initiation Form) which contains the detailed solution description of the module.

·         Responsible for estimating the cost effort to the module as per the requirement document.

·         Responsible for identify the number of UI pages and Java components for the module as per the client requirement document which leads the effort estimation and RIF document.

This project consisted of implementing various customizations in Oracle Sourcing Module for Air India. The customizations are done using Oracle Applications Framework (OAF). Air India uses a two stage bidding process for all their procurements. The first stage is known as RFI (Request for Information) and contains the technical details of the items to be procured. The second stage is known as RFQ (Request for Quotation) wherein the suppliers are requested to submit the price bids for the items. The RFI and RFQ are linked together with an event.

This Project handles the interaction of both Windows and Linux Operating System with the Smart Card Reader. After inserting the Smart Card into the Card Acceptance Device (Reader) it gives details of Smart Card and then cryptographic functionalities useful for securing important and meaningful data. It is used for data encryption, decryption, signing, managing digital certificates and implementation of smart card and USB tokens for public key cryptography. It can also be used to integrate smart card technology into a working Certification Authority that issues public key certificates for the users.
